In value terms, Nigeria ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported tyres for aircraft in Western Africa, comprising 64% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Ghana ($X), with a 9.4% share of total imports. It was followed by Niger, with a 7.5% share.

In Nigeria, aircraft tyre imports expanded at an average annual rate of +1.1% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Ghana (+23.9% per year) and Niger (+37.4% per year).
