The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 248%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Ghana (X tons), distantly followed by Senegal (X tons), Cote d'Ivoire (X tons), Mauritania (X tons), Nigeria (X tons) and Benin (X tons) represented the largest importers of tools of wood, together committing 90% of total imports. Guinea (X tons) held a little share of total imports.
