In 2021, shipments abroad of windscreen wipers, defrosters and demisters for motorcycles or motor vehicles decreased by -26.4% to X units, falling for the fourth year in a row after three years of growth. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 772%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, vehicle windscreen wiper exports reduced dramatically to $X in 2021. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 1,235%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 91%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
