The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by 15% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of the global exports remained at a lower figure.

The shipments of the eight major exporters of non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors, namely China, the United States, Mexico, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic, represented more than two-thirds of total export. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 27% against the previous year. Over the period under review, global imports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Overall, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +39.2% against 2020 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 26%. Global imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

It was distantly followed by Canada (X units), mixing up a 15% share of total imports. The following importers - Russia (X units), Poland (X units), the Netherlands (X units), Germany (X units) and the UK (X units) - each amounted to a 9.4% share of total imports.
The United States was also the fastest-growing in terms of the non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors imports, with a CAGR of +21.3% from 2012 to 2022.
