From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to aluminium alloy tube exports from China stood at +4.0%. At the same time, Belgium (+8.3%), Russia (+7.9%), Mexico (+6.5%), the Netherlands (+6.2%) and Turkey (+3.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belgium emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +8.3% from 2012-2022. Denmark, the United States, the Czech Republic, South Africa and Italy experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Bulgaria (-1.1%) and South Korea (-1.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest aluminium alloy tube supplier worldwide, comprising 26% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the United States ($X), with a 13% share of global exports. It was followed by Belgium, with a 7.3% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in China totaled +6.5%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the United States (+2.6% per year) and Belgium (+11.6% per year).

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 14% against the previous year. Global import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
