In value terms, the United States ($X), France ($X) and Spain ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2022, with a combined 35% share of global imports. Germany, the UK, Poland, Italy, the Netherlands, Thailand, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Nigeria lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 31%.

In terms of the main importing countries, Thailand, with a CAGR of +43.0%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average baby clothes import price amounted to $X per ton, waning by -3.2% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.4%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when the average import price increased by 23% against the previous year.
