In 2021, China (X tons) represented the major exporter of chlorides (excluding ammonium chloride), creating 33% of total exports. From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to chlorides exports from China stood at +3.7%. France, India, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Finland, Italy, Sweden, Austria and Mexico lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 33%.
