Germany, Switzerland and Hungary experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, the United States (-1.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of China, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany, South Africa and the United States increased by +11, +7.1, +5.9, +4.1, +1.8 and +1.7 percentage points, respectively.

In value terms, the largest chlorosulphuric acid supplying countries worldwide were Switzerland ($X), Oman ($X) and China ($X), together accounting for 63% of global exports.

Switzerland, with a CAGR of +26.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
