In 2022, China (X tons) represented the major exporter of clutches and shaft couplings, making up 44% of total exports. Among the main exporting countries, China, with a CAGR of +7.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average shaft coupling export price amounted to $X per ton, declining by -16.3% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a noticeable setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 4.4%. The global export price peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 4.6% against the previous year. Global import price peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
