It was distantly followed by Singapore (X units), the Netherlands (X units), Mexico (X units) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X units), together achieving a 35% share of total exports. Germany (X units), the United States (X units), Hong Kong SAR (X units), Malaysia (X units) and the Czech Republic (X units) took a relatively small share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to data processing server exports from China stood at +4.0%. At the same time, Malaysia (+28.2%), Taiwan (Chinese) (+28.0%), Singapore (+23.8%), the Netherlands (+20.5%), Hong Kong SAR (+13.0%), Mexico (+12.8%), Germany (+4.3%) and the United States (+2.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Malaysia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +28.2% from 2012-2022. By contrast, the Czech Republic (-8.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Singapore (+9.9 p.p.), the Netherlands (+5.8 p.p.), Taiwan (Chinese) (+5.3 p.p.), Mexico (+3 p.p.), Malaysia (+2.3 p.p.) and Hong Kong SAR (+1.5 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global exports, while the United States, the Czech Republic and China saw its share reduced by -2.1%, -7.9% and -12.3% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Mexico ($X), China ($X) and the United States ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together comprising 59% of global exports. The Netherlands, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan (Chinese), Singapore, Germany, the Czech Republic and Malaysia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 31%.
In terms of the main exporting countries, Taiwan (Chinese), with a CAGR of +42.4%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The average data processing server export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, jumping by 18% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
