China dominates exports structure, resulting at X units, which was near 67% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Germany (X units), committing a 7.1% share of total exports. Mexico (X units), the Netherlands (X units), Hungary (X units), Belgium (X units), the United States (X units), Romania (X units), Malaysia (X units) and Austria (X units) took a little share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to power tool exports from China stood at +7.1%. At the same time, the Netherlands (+18.5%), Austria (+12.3%), Romania (+11.4%), Mexico (+9.0%), the United States (+8.0%), Germany (+5.8%), Belgium (+4.3%), Hungary (+4.1%) and Malaysia (+2.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Netherlands emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +18.5% from 2012-2021. While the share of the Netherlands (+1.7 p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest power tool supplier worldwide, comprising 49% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Germany ($X), with a 12% share of global exports. It was followed by Mexico, with a 4.9% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in China stood at +9.3%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Germany (+4.3% per year) and Mexico (+8.7% per year).

Germany (X units) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Belgium (X units), Russia (X units), the Netherlands (X units) and France (X units). All these countries together held approx. 27% share of total imports. The UK (X units), Spain (X units), Poland (X units), India (X units), Brazil (X units), Austria (X units) and Canada (X units) took a relatively small share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to power tool imports into the United States stood at +9.6%. At the same time, India (+22.6%), Spain (+18.1%), the Netherlands (+16.0%), Austria (+13.8%), Belgium (+12.2%), Germany (+11.0%), Poland (+10.0%), the UK (+9.7%), France (+6.2%), Canada (+4.0%), Russia (+3.6%) and Brazil (+3.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, India emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +22.6% from 2012-2021.
