The biggest shipments were from Thailand (X cubic meters), China (X cubic meters) and Germany (X cubic meters), together finishing at 34% of total export. Turkey (X cubic meters) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Russia (X cubic meters), the Netherlands (X cubic meters) and Poland (X cubic meters). All these countries together held approx. 21% share of total exports. Belgium (X cubic meters), Brazil (X cubic meters), France (X cubic meters), Belarus (X cubic meters), Spain (X cubic meters) and Canada (X cubic meters) took a little share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Belarus (with a CAGR of +21.7%), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($X), China ($X) and Thailand ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together comprising 31% of global exports. Turkey, Poland, Belgium, Canada, Spain, Belarus, Russia, France, Brazil and the Netherlands lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 39%.
Among the main exporting countries, Belarus, with a CAGR of +28.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average fiberboard export price amounted to $X per cubic meter, growing by 12% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 17%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per cubic meter), while the Netherlands ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, the United States ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported fiber board of wood or other ligneous materials worldwide, comprising 16% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was held by the UK ($X), with a 4.8% share of global imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 4.5% share.
In the United States, fiberboard imports increased at an average annual rate of +9.3% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the UK (+5.6% per year) and Germany (+3.3% per year).

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per cubic meter), while the Netherlands ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
