Moreover, Russia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +15.1% from 2012-2022. By contrast, South Korea (-4.9%), Mexico (-5.7%) and Germany (-5.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of China and Poland increased by +21 and +1.7 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest fire extinguisher supplier worldwide, comprising 26% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Mexico ($X), with an 8.9% share of global exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 6.3% share.

Moreover, Vietnam emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +51.5% from 2012-2022. Germany experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, South Africa (-26.3%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of the United States, Vietnam, France and the United Arab Emirates increased by +18, +4.4, +2.5 and +1.7 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest fire extinguisher importing markets worldwide were the United States ($X), the UK ($X) and Germany ($X), with a combined 23% share of global imports. France, Canada, Spain, Australia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, South Korea, South Africa and Greece lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 27%.
