In value terms, liquid fuel furnace burner production dropped markedly to $X in 2021 estimated in export price. Overall, production showed a mild shrinkage. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of the global exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, liquid fuel furnace burner exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible downturn. The global exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Italy (X tons) represented the largest exporter of furnace burners for liquid fuel, committing 41% of total exports. Germany (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by China (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons). All these countries together took near 33% share of total exports. India (X tons), Sweden (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Japan (X tons), Canada (X tons) and the UK (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

Exports from Italy decreased at an average annual rate of -1.4% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, the Netherlands (+10.0%), India (+8.9%) and Turkey (+4.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Netherlands emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +10.0% from 2012-2021. China experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Canada (-3.4%), Sweden (-4.1%), Germany (-6.0%), Japan (-6.9%) and the UK (-9.6%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Italy, the Netherlands, China and India increased by +6.9, +4.5, +4 and +2.4 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Italy ($X), Germany ($X) and China ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 64% share of global exports. These countries were followed by Japan, Sweden, the UK, Canada, India, Turkey and the Netherlands, which together accounted for a further 15%.

India, with a CAGR of +9.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average liquid fuel furnace burner export price amounted to $X per ton, increasing by 9.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Japan ($X per ton), while the Netherlands ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+3.9%), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Global imports peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, liquid fuel furnace burner imports reduced modestly to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a noticeable decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 9.3%. Global imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
