These countries were followed by the United States, the Netherlands, Romania, Turkey, India, Taiwan (Chinese) and the United Arab Emirates, which together accounted for a further 13%.

In 2021, purchases abroad of furnace burners for solid fuel or gas decreased by -11.3% to X tons, falling for the second year in a row after four years of growth. Overall, total imports indicated a noticeable expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -24.6% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 38%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of global imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to solid fuel furnace burner imports into the Netherlands stood at +28.3%. At the same time, Nigeria (+36.4%), Belgium (+13.8%), Slovakia (+8.0%), Germany (+2.8%), the United Arab Emirates (+2.1%) and the United States (+2.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Nigeria emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +36.4% from 2012-2021. Turkey and Indonesia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
