Poland was the major exporting country with an export of around X units, which recorded 58% of total exports. China (X units) held a 12% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Denmark (8%) and the Netherlands (5.2%). The following exporters - the United States (X units), Singapore (X units), Vietnam (X units) and Malaysia (X units) - together made up 11% of total exports.

Poland was also the fastest-growing in terms of the hearing aids (excl. parts and accessories) exports, with a CAGR of +90.8% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Malaysia (+59.2%), the Netherlands (+56.4%), Vietnam (+24.0%), Denmark (+13.4%), the United States (+9.8%), Singapore (+6.2%) and China (+5.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Poland, the Netherlands and Malaysia increased by +57, +4.7 and +2.1 percentage points, respectively. In value terms, hearing aid imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total imports indicated resilient growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.5% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
