Guyana (X tons), Spain (X tons), Uruguay (X tons), Italy (X tons), Pakistan (X tons) and Argentina (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Exports from Myanmar increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2018. At the same time, Niger (+X%), Paraguay (+X%), Pakistan (+X%), Spain (+X%) and China (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Niger emerged as the fastest-growing exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2018. By contrast, Guyana (-X%), Italy (-X%), the U.S. (-X%), Thailand (-X%), Uruguay (-X%) and Argentina (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Myanmar (+X p.p.), Niger (+X p.p.), Paraguay (+X p.p.), Pakistan (+X p.p.) and Spain (+X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global exports, while Guyana, Argentina, Uruguay, the U.S. and Thailand saw its share reduced by -X%, -X%, -X%, -X% and -X% from 2007 to 2018, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Myanmar ($X) remains the largest brown rice supplier worldwide, comprising X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Niger ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by Guyana, with a X% share.
From 2007 to 2018, the average annual growth rate of value in Myanmar totaled +X%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Niger (+X% per year) and Guyana (+X% per year).

Over the period under review, the average import prices for husked (brown) rice reached their maximum at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2018, import prices failed to regain their momentum.
