The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest liquid air and distilled water supplier worldwide, comprising 70% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Israel ($X), with a 5.4% share of global exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 2.4% share.

In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a sharp setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 101%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of global imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, liquid air and distilled water imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 157%. Over the period under review, global imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

In value terms, South Korea ($X), Poland ($X) and Japan ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, with a combined 81% share of global imports.

In terms of the main importing countries, Poland, with a CAGR of +83.3%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

The average import price for liquid or compressed air and distilled or conductivity water stood at $X per ton in 2021, waning by -8.5% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, posted a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 2,581%. Global import price peaked at $X per ton in 2020, and then declined in the following year.
