The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 43% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the global exports attained the maximum in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed in certain years. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Exports by Country
China was the main exporter of loudspeakers (not in enclosure) in the world, with the volume of exports finishing at X units, which was near 50% of total exports in 2021. Vietnam (X units) took a 19% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Hong Kong SAR (9.2%). The following exporters - Thailand (X units), Indonesia (X units), Mexico (X units), Hungary (X units), Germany (X units) and Belgium (X units) - together made up 16% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to non-enclosed loudspeakers exports from China stood at +2.9%. At the same time, Hungary (+22.8%), Vietnam (+19.7%), Thailand (+14.9%), Belgium (+10.7%), Mexico (+7.6%) and Indonesia (+2.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Hungary emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +22.8% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Germany (-1.6%) and Hong Kong SAR (-9.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Vietnam (+15 p.p.), Thailand (+2.1 p.p.), China (+1.9 p.p.) and Hungary (+1.9 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2012-2021, the share of Hong Kong SAR (-18.7 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest non-enclosed loudspeakers supplier worldwide, comprising 47% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Vietnam ($X), with an 18% share of global exports. It was followed by Hong Kong SAR, with a 4.9% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in China amounted to +5.1%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Vietnam (+17.6% per year) and Hong Kong SAR (-4.4% per year).
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the average non-enclosed loudspeakers export price amounted to $X per unit, with an increase of 13% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the average export price increased by 29% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2017 to 2021, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

After two years of decline, overseas purchases of loudspeakers (not in enclosure) increased by 15% to X units in 2021. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a mild downturn. Over the period under review, global imports attained the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
In 2021, India (X units), followed by China (X units), Hong Kong SAR (X units), Germany (X units), Japan (X units), the United States (X units) and Vietnam (X units) were the major importers of loudspeakers (not in enclosure), together comprising 60% of total imports. South Korea (X units), Poland (X units), Mexico (X units), Thailand (X units), Indonesia (X units) and Brazil (X units) held a minor share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for India (with a CAGR of +18.5%), while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the United States ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported loudspeakers (not in enclosure) worldwide, comprising 18% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Japan ($X), with a 7.7% share of global imports. It was followed by China, with a 7.6% share.
