China was also the fastest-growing in terms of the sanitary towels, tampons, napkins and diapers exports, with a CAGR of +11.9% from 2012 to 2021. In value terms, the largest sanitary towel and diaper supplying countries worldwide were China ($X), Germany ($X) and Poland ($X), with a combined 31% share of global exports. These countries were followed by the Czech Republic, Japan, the Netherlands, Canada, the United States, Turkey, Belgium, Mexico, Sweden and France, which together accounted for a further 41%.
Mexico, with a CAGR of +11.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
