In value terms, Japan ($X), Germany ($X) and South Korea ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, together accounting for 45% of global exports. China, Italy, Taiwan (Chinese), the United States, Spain, France, the UK, Turkey, India and the Netherlands lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 41%.

In terms of the main exporting countries, France, with a CAGR of +10.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average non-hydraulic press export price stood at $X per unit in 2021, declining by -8.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a perceptible curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when the average export price increased by 24%.
