In 2021, China (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the key exporters of other cyclic hydrocarbonsaround the world, together reaching near 32% of total exports. India (X tons) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Belgium (X tons), Japan (X tons), the United States (X tons), Israel (X tons), Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) and Saudi Arabia (X tons). All these countries together took near 42% share of total exports. The following exporters - Malaysia (X tons), South Korea (X tons), Canada (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) - together made up 13% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the leading exporting countries, was attained by Saudi Arabia (with a CAGR of +40.7%), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest cyclic hydrocarbons supplying countries worldwide were China ($X), Germany ($X) and Belgium ($X), with a combined 53% share of global exports. These countries were followed by India, the United States, Japan, Israel, the Netherlands, Taiwan (Chinese), South Korea, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, which together accounted for a further 37%.
Saudi Arabia, with a CAGR of +30.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the average cyclic hydrocarbons export price amounted to $X per ton, surging by 7.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 14% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2014 to 2021, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while Saudi Arabia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Israel (+12.6%), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports
After two years of decline, overseas purchases of other cyclic hydrocarbons increased by 11% to X tons in 2021. Over the period under review, total imports indicated noticeable growth from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +4.6% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -15.7% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 22% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of global imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country
Afghanistan (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) represented the major importers of other cyclic hydrocarbons in 2021, amounting to near 26% and 21% of total imports, respectively. The United States (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 10% share, followed by Germany (7.8%) and India (7.2%). Belgium (X tons), France (X tons), China (X tons) and South Korea (X tons) took a relatively small share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Afghanistan (with a CAGR of +32.1%), while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest cyclic hydrocarbons importing markets worldwide were the Netherlands ($X), Germany ($X) and Afghanistan ($X), with a combined 37% share of global imports.
In terms of the main importing countries, Afghanistan, with a CAGR of +32.2%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The average cyclic hydrocarbons import price stood at $X per ton in 2021, increasing by 23% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible contraction. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per ton), while Afghanistan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
