In value terms, Germany ($X), China ($X) and Italy ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 44% share of global exports. Poland, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Slovakia, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Vietnam and Egypt lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 36%.

Vietnam, with a CAGR of +35.8%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices by Country

In 2021, the average paper tablecloths export price amounted to $X per ton, reducing by -3.9% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 10% against the previous year. The global export price peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, the largest paper tablecloths importing markets worldwide were the United States ($X), Germany ($X) and France ($X), together comprising 32% of global imports. Canada, the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Australia, Sweden and the Dominican Republic lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 35%.
