Poland (X units), Taiwan (Chinese) (X units), Germany (X units), the United States (X units), Spain (X units) and the Netherlands (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Exports from China decreased at an average annual rate of -7.0% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Cambodia (+52.5%), Vietnam (+29.4%), Poland (+15.8%), Belgium (+11.1%), Mexico (+7.5%), the United States (+5.8%), the Netherlands (+3.3%), Taiwan (Chinese) (+2.8%) and Germany (+1.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Cambodia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +52.5% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Spain (-1.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Cambodia (+9.7 p.p.), Mexico (+6 p.p.), Vietnam (+5.1 p.p.), Belgium (+4.8 p.p.), Poland (+3.1 p.p.) and the United States (+1.5 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2012-2022, the share of China (-34.9 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest plastic shutters and blinds supplying countries worldwide were China ($X), Cambodia ($X) and Belgium ($X), with a combined 48% share of global exports.

In terms of the main exporting countries, Cambodia, with a CAGR of +56.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices by Country

The average plastic shutters and blinds export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, rising by 6.2% against the previous year. At the same time, Hungary (+24.3%), Poland (+14.7%), the UK (+12.8%), the Netherlands (+6.4%) and France (+4.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Hungary emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +24.3% from 2012-2022. Australia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. While the share of the United States (+22 p.p.) and the UK (+2 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2012-2022, the share of Australia (-3.4 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the United States ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported plastic shutters and blinds worldwide, comprising 47% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Australia ($X), with a 5.5% share of global imports. It was followed by the UK, with a 5.1% share.
