At the same time, Croatia (+33.5%), Poland (+9.4%), Lithuania (+9.3%), Estonia (+8.0%), Italy (+5.4%), the Czech Republic (+5.0%), Slovenia (+4.7%), Belgium (+3.6%), the Netherlands (+3.2%) and Canada (+1.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Croatia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +33.5% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Turkey (-1.6%) and Germany (-3.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Croatia (+4 p.p.), Estonia (+2.8 p.p.), Lithuania (+1.9 p.p.), Poland (+1.7 p.p.) and China (+1.5 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global exports, while Germany saw its share reduced by -2.7% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest prefabricated buildings of plastics, concrete or aluminium supplier worldwide, comprising 18% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Netherlands ($X), with a 7% share of global exports. It was followed by Estonia, with a 5.5% share.

In value terms, Germany ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported prefabricated buildings of plastics, concrete or aluminium worldwide, comprising 11% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Norway ($X), with a 4.7% share of global imports. It was followed by the Netherlands, with a 4.4% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Germany totaled +9.3%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Norway (+0.8% per year) and the Netherlands (+20.3% per year).
