From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the leading exporting countries, was attained by Hong Kong SAR (with a CAGR of +117.4%), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest self-propelled railway coach supplying countries worldwide were Austria ($X), China ($X) and Poland ($X), with a combined 45% share of global exports. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 870% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of global imports remained at a lower figure.

The average self-propelled railway coach import price stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 23% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a perceptible expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 1,089% against the previous year.
