In value terms, super-heated water boiler exports rose markedly to $X in 2021. In general, exports saw modest growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 82% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of the global exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

South Korea represented the key exporting country with an export of about X tons, which finished at 38% of total exports. Myanmar (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Germany (X tons) and India (X tons). All these countries together took near 25% share of total exports. The Philippines (X tons), Turkey (X tons), the United States (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons), Poland (X tons), Austria (X tons), China (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Spain (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to super-heated water boiler exports from South Korea stood at +15.5%. At the same time, Poland (+91.0%), the Philippines (+58.4%), Myanmar (+44.0%), the Netherlands (+34.6%), Spain (+8.9%) and Germany (+6.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Poland emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +91.0% from 2012-2021. Austria, China and Turkey experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, India (-3.9%), the United States (-7.5%) and Italy (-10.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of South Korea (+25 p.p.), Myanmar (+10 p.p.), the Philippines (+3.9 p.p.), Germany (+2.9 p.p.), the Netherlands (+2.8 p.p.) and Poland (+2.7 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2012-2021, the share of Italy (-4.5 p.p.), India (-4.6 p.p.) and the United States (-5.9 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, South Korea ($X) remains the largest super-heated water boiler supplier worldwide, comprising 39% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Germany ($X), with a 12% share of global exports. It was followed by the Philippines, with a 5.1% share.

In South Korea, super-heated water boiler exports increased at an average annual rate of +17.8% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (+6.9% per year) and the Philippines (+66.2% per year).

Export Prices by Country

The average super-heated water boiler export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, surging by 8.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 24% against the previous year. The global export price peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per ton), while Myanmar ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, after four years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas purchases of super-heated water boilers, when their volume decreased by -67.4% to X tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a mild expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 91% against the previous year. Over the period under review, global imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2020, and then fell sharply in the following year.

In value terms, super-heated water boiler imports reduced notably to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 90% against the previous year. Global imports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

Imports by Country

Indonesia represented the major importer of super-heated water boilers in the world, with the volume of imports finishing at X tons, which was near 37% of total imports in 2021. Bangladesh (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Canada (X tons) and Nigeria (X tons). All these countries together took near 19% share of total imports. The following importers - the UK (X tons), the United States (X tons), France (X tons), Vietnam (X tons), Poland (X tons), Switzerland (X tons) and Turkey (X tons) - together made up 18% of total imports.

Imports into Indonesia increased at an average annual rate of +25.5% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Bangladesh (+39.5%), Vietnam (+35.4%), Turkey (+27.0%), Nigeria (+25.7%), Canada (+19.8%), Poland (+17.5%) and Switzerland (+7.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Bangladesh emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +39.5% from 2012-2021. By contrast, the UK (-3.1%), the United States (-9.1%) and France (-17.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Indonesia (+32 p.p.), Bangladesh (+6.3 p.p.), Nigeria (+5 p.p.), Canada (+4.8 p.p.) and Vietnam (+2 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2012-2021, the share of the UK (-1.9 p.p.), the United States (-5.4 p.p.) and France (-14.8 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest super-heated water boiler importing markets worldwide were Indonesia ($X), Canada ($X) and the United States ($X), together accounting for 43% of global imports. These countries were followed by Switzerland, Vietnam, Bangladesh, the UK, Poland, France, Nigeria and Turkey, which together accounted for a further 25%.

Vietnam, with a CAGR of +46.4%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

In 2021, the average super-heated water boiler import price amounted to $X per ton, growing by 91% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Global import price peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
