The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when exports increased by 21%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of the global exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, frozen sweet corn exports surged to $X in 2021. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations in certain years. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The biggest shipments were from the United States (X tons), Hungary (X tons), Spain (X tons) and China (X tons), together finishing at 48% of total export. France (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total exports with a 6% share, followed by Thailand (5.5%), Belgium (5.4%), India (5.2%) and Poland (4.9%). The following exporters - Canada (X tons), New Zealand (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Serbia (X tons) - together made up 12% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in India (with a CAGR of +14.3%), while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest frozen sweet corn supplying countries worldwide were the United States ($X), Hungary ($X) and Spain ($X), together accounting for 42% of global exports.
Among the main exporting countries, Spain, with a CAGR of +17.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average frozen sweet corn export price amounted to $X per ton, increasing by 4.1% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, frozen sweet corn imports expanded notably to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Japan (X tons), the UK (X tons), Belgium (X tons) and the United States (X tons) represented the key importer of frozen sweet corn in the world, making up 43% of total import. The average frozen sweet corn import price stood at $X per ton in 2021, increasing by 4.7% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Japan ($X per ton), while Russia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
