In value terms, the largest turbo-jet (under X kN) supplying countries worldwide were the United States ($X), the UK ($X) and Ukraine ($X), with a combined 49% share of global exports. Germany, India, China and Turkey lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 7.3%.
In terms of the main exporting countries, India, with a CAGR of +146.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The average turbo-jet (under X kN) export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, rising by 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a deep slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when the average export price increased by 1,033% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, the United States ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported turbo-jets of a thrust not exceeding X kN worldwide, comprising 27% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was held by the UK ($X), with a 9.7% share of global imports. It was followed by China, with a 3.1% share.
In the United States, turbo-jet (under X kN) imports remained relatively stable over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the UK (+4.7% per year) and China (-0.1% per year).
