The average internal combustion engines export price stood at $X per unit in 2021, rising by 8.3% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.0%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per unit), while India ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

These countries were followed by Turkey, Spain, the Czech Republic, France, Russia, Thailand, Brazil, Argentina, the UK and Morocco, which together accounted for a further 32%.

Morocco, with a CAGR of +10.0%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average internal combustion engines import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, standing approx. at the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a mild slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 2.2%. Global import price peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
