In value terms, the largest wrapping papers supplying countries worldwide were Germany ($X), the United States ($X) and Sweden ($X), together comprising 31% of global exports. These countries were followed by the Czech Republic, France, Finland, Italy, Austria, Russia, Canada, Spain, Japan and India, which together accounted for a further 41%.
India, with a CAGR of +15.7%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average wrapping papers import price amounted to $X per ton, with an increase of 11% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
