France (X tons), Canada (X tons), Denmark (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Portugal (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Denmark, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest lard markets from Zimbabwe were Spain ($X), Germany ($X) and Belgium ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports. These countries were followed by the U.S., Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, Poland, France, Austria, Denmark and Portugal, which together accounted for a further X recorded the highest growth rate of exports, among the main exporting countries over the last eleven years, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The following importers - Belgium (X tons), the UK (X tons), Germany (X tons), the U.S. (X tons), Portugal (X tons) and the Philippines (X tons) - together made up X% of total imports.

In value terms, the largest lard importing markets into Zimbabwe were Spain ($X), Mexico ($X) and the Netherlands ($X), together comprising X% of total imports. Denmark, Belgium, France, the U.S., the UK, Germany, Slovakia, Portugal and the Philippines lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X the main importing countries, Slovakia experienced the highest rates of growth with regard to imports, over the last eleven-year period, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The lard import price in Zimbabwe stood at $X per ton in 2018, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. In general, the lard import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the import prices for lard reached their maximum at $X per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2018, import prices remained at a lower figure.
